The Vinoy Renaissance Engagement Session

High school sweethearts.

You often hear of them, but too often it sounds like it is some sort of myth. Caroline and John are here to prove that they are more than real. From high school, through college (at two separate universities), and now through their careers in New York City, through all of the ups and downs of life, their relationship has done nothing but strengthen along the way. The letterman jacket.

A symbol of the times, accomplishments, and memories made from a significant point in one’s life, and John’s letterman jacket from Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa is a symbol of just that. From his accomplishments in and outside of the classroom to meeting the love of his life.

Having known each other for so long, Caroline and John truly bring out the best in one another. The laughter, the smiles, and all of the looks filled with so much love and adoration. It is just so completely evident that  any amount of time spent together is time that is so cherished. Going to two universities that are three hours apart would be difficult for most couples,

but they know just how valuable their time is with one another.

And their Vinoy Renaissance engagement session was no exception for them. Throughout every last moment of their session, they had just the best time, cherished every moment, and made one another’s personalities shine. And if this engagement session is even the smallest of a glimpse into what their wedding tomorrow has in store… well..

We just cannot even wait to see what the day has in store for them.

Caroline and John, we don’t know how made it through a long distance college relationship while being three hours apart, because Shauna and I don’t know what to do when we are in separate rooms, but what we do know, is that you two absolutely have what it takes. The way you understand each other, make one another laugh, and care for each other is such an amazing reminder to enjoy all of lifespan’s moments. And if the rest of your friends and family are anything like you two, well… let’s just say that tomorrow is going to be a day for us all to remember. We are so thankful to know you two and cannot wait to watch as you two marry your best friend back at The Vinoy Renaissance. (Don’t worry. We’ve already packed tissues). Until tomorrow…
