Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Wedding

Samantha and CJ’s Hyatt Regency Coconut Point wedding began at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Where CJ stood there watching as the bridesmaids filed down the aisle, one by one. He swayed, just slightly, as he waited. Standing. Smiling. Waiting. Waiting for the love of his life to walk down the aisle towards him.

And when she did, it was perfection.

Looking as if she had just stepped off a 1930’s red carpet, Samantha walked towards CJ, arm in arm with two of the men who loved and raised her to be the woman that she is today.

Towards her future husband.

Together on that alter as their law school Chaplain married them… they smiled, they laughed, and most of all, they began their legacy of love together. And as the crowed watched the look in their eyes as they stood on that alter… it was so completely evident that Samantha and CJ found their soulmate. Their best friend. That their wedding was going to be a day that commemorated their love story. Their legacy of love.

Down to every last detail.

From CJ gifting Samantha her favorite cookies the morning of their wedding to a s’mores bar (and y’all… what would be a better way to end then night than a s’more’s bar- after all, it was over the most epic s’mores that CJ and Samantha fell in love with each other), their Hyatt Regency Coconut Point wedding day was a constant appreciation to their love for one another.

The kind of love that withstands the test of time.

A love that is patient, understanding, and compassionate. All while making one another a better person. Because that kind of love? Its is a love that some search their whole lives for, and Samantha and CJ have just that.

An epic kind of love.

Samantha and CJ, there truly aren’t even enough words. We say it over and over again, but our couples truly are power couples. But not only because you two are absolute bosses in the Chicago law network, but because of the kind of love that you two share. The love, the respect, the partnership- all of it. You two truly share a special kind of love. The kind that refuses to settle for mediocrity, the kind that strives for greatness.

So as we sit here in Paris writing this… our hearts truly cannot be any more full and proud to call you two a Cooney Couple… but even more importantly, to call you two friends. Cheers to you two and all that your future holds.
