I will never forget the first time Jordon and I (virtually) met Cassandra and Michael. Their smiles light up our screens and their laughter was completely infectious. It isn’t every day that a couple’s love and happiness can radiate the way Cassandra and Michael’s did through a computer screen via Skype session.

But theirs did, and we knew.

When we finished our Skype session with Cassandra and Michael… we looked at each other and our expressions read the same. exact. thing. They are absolutely a #cooneycouple. So when we got the call from Cassandra letting us know that they wanted us to be there on the day that they begin their legacy of love… we did a happy dance. A real life, out in the open, happy dance. Because we couldn’t think of a better or more perfect way to spend our October Saturday than by documenting their love.

And my goodness did their engagement session just make us even more excited for their wedding day!

Cassandra told us that she would love to get some photos of their adorable pup, Amos, during their session. After hearing Michael’s incredibly romantic proposal story in their brand new guest house, I knew instantly that it would be the perfect location for a romantic lifestyle session. In the spot where he proposed. With their dog. While show casing the incredible dream house that they created together. Basically, it was absolutely perfect. Pair that with their downtown session…

This has to be one of our all-time favorite sessions to date.

We kept on telling Cassandra and Michael how amazing they were during their session, and we meant it. And it wasn’t just because we’re pretty sure that they both secretly model for a living, but it was because of how much their love, passion, and friendship with one another shined through in every image.

Cassandra and Michael, not only are you two absolutely beautiful together, you two are just an absolute joy to be around. It is so easy for us to see that separately you are both kind, considerate, compassionate, and charismatic, but together.. you two are a force to be reckoned with. You love and consideration for one another is so apparent not only in person, but through your photos as well. We are so thankful to get to witness a love as amazing as yours, and we cannot wait for October 20th to be here already.
