Tampa Garden Club Wedding | Angielique and Ryan | Tampa, FL

Tampa Garden Club Wedding

The clouds covered the sky and the temperature began to slowly drop. The wind quickly began to pick up,  twirling around Angielique and Ryan on Bayshore Boulevard at their Tampa Garden Club wedding. With our backs to Downtown Tampa and our camera lenses on Angielique and Ryan.

We would have never seen it coming.

There we were, standing on Bayshore Boulevard in downtown Tampa, when mid-pose, Ryan tell us, “Hey guys, there’s a storm rolling up on us pretty quick behind you.” We turned around, and saw it. A huge band of rain moving towards us at the most incredible speed- unlike we had seen anything before.

We aren’t sure how long Angielique and Ryan had seen the storm heading towards us, but when he finally spoke up, there was something so special in his voice.

It was so calm.

And Angielique? She didn’t begin to stress about her hair and makeup or even her dress. She stood there with a smile on her face- ready for the next pose with her groom, and not even ten seconds later, the rain began to fall.

Ryan grabbed Angielique’s hand just as Shauna grabbed the train to her dress, and Jordon grabbed their handcrafted cocktails (and as always- Shauna’s stool, which he always seems to have to find and carry 😂).

Together, we ran across four lanes of traffic on one of Tampa’s busiest streets.

Stopping traffic along the way- to get shelter at back at their Tampa Garden Club wedding. Through this short, adventurous run, Ryan and Angielique never lost their smiles. They laughed and held hands all the way through the drizzling ran… ready for their next pose with one another. It isn’t every bride that we would push being out in the rain with, but Angielique and Ryan have something so special…

A genuine excitement and readiness for life and adventure.

To them, at the end of the day, all that mattered was marrying their best friend, no matter what life threw at them. For us, a couple who cares more about enjoying the moment than what Mother Nature has in store for their day… that is a Cooney Couple. Because for them, their wedding day isn’t about having perfection. They simply need and want one another. To marry and stand with their best friend through the day. And that is exactly what Angielique and Ryan are…

Perfection for one another.

And their wedding day? Well, let’s just say that a little rain definitely didn’t stop them from having a picture perfect wedding.

Angie and Ryan, we just love and adore the two of you and your love for life and each other. The way you two constantly make one another smile and live life to he fullest is such a great reminder to all of us not to take life too seriously, and to remember what truly matters most. Of all of our couples, we have absolutely no doubt that the two of you will wake up one day, old and grey, and look at each other and say, “Man… we lived life to the fullest” and that you two would have done it together. We wish you two the most amazing honeymoon and cannot wait to see you two again soon at a Cooney Couple date night. We love you both so much and cannot wait to watch your legacy together unfold.

Hugs and lots of love,

Shauna and Jordon
