Sometimes, our couples have hearts so adventurous, that we are straight up envious of their strength. The kind of adventure that would make most people think “Oh absolutely not”. The kind of adventures that most people will never do.

The kind of adventures like moving to Chile- on a whim.

A kind of adventure that is fit for someone only as smart, kind, personable, and courageous as Frances. The kind of adventure that she loved so much, that after finishing teaching abroad for a year…

She did it again.

After a year of teaching in Chile with her best friend (who actually found the love of her life on that trip), Frances fell in love with the country. So much that she packed her bags, sad goodbye to her Italian family (who as you can assume, are a very close family) and went back to Chile. Again. And the second time?

She did it alone.

Let’s all take a moment of silence to admire Frances’s bravery and sense of adventure… because y’all… we love experiences over things every day of the week… but there is no way that Shauna would ever go on an adventure like that on her own. (She would also probably get lost- so it’s really for the best 😂).

And it’s a good thing she did.

Because we’re convinced that there is something magical about Chile.

You see.. when Frances went to Chile with her friend the first time… her best friend met the man who is now here husband. So what are the chances that when Frances would go back to Chile that she would find her future husband?!

Yes. You read that right.

There is clearly some kind of husband making routines (or factory) in Chile, so ladies, if you need a kind, loving, affectionate, and compassionate husband… just buy yourself a ticket down to Chile. Because history would say that chances are in your favor. Because Pedro? He is all those things.

He is all those things and so much more.

Frances and Pedro, Jordon and I are so thankful to have you two in our lives. To remind us that some of the best surprises in life come unexpectedly. That when you let yourself live a little, amazing things happen. You remind us all that at the end of the day, it is the experiences in you memory and the love in your heart that matters most- not the number of hours you clocked in a week or the amount of money in your pockets. What truly matters? Experiencing life with the love of your life, your best friend. So thank you. Thank you for being a key example and reminder to all our couples to let go and live a little- because that is where mediocrity ends, and the magic begins.

Hugs and lots of love,

Shauna and Jordon
